Every company wants five-star reviews, so how has South Mountain Physical Therapy managed to earn so many positive reviews and such an incredible reputation? We sat down with Co-Owner, Brandon Orso, to find out. Here are the words of wisdom he’d like to pass on:
What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
For us, it’s what we do inside the clinic day after day, from patient care to therapy, that has made the biggest difference in building a strong online reputation. Patients are going to leave reviews because of how we take care of them. Our strong online reputation is a byproduct of that.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
Most physical therapy offices are going to offer the same services, but what sets us apart is the professional services we offer in a home-like atmosphere. Because we are a husband and wife team, we treat all of our patients like family. With South Mountain Physical Therapy, patients get a home-grown feel with a professional touch.
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
We make it a point to inject music, humor and love into everything we do, and we are dedicated to empowering our patients. Through conversation and laughter, we help to take the pain off of our patients’ minds during therapy. We hope that every patient who leaves our clinic leaves with a positive experience that will make their day a little bit brighter.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
Everything we do to market our business starts right here in the clinic with what we do for our patients. We focus on caring for our patients and providing them with all of the tools they need for their recovery. From the administrative work to the insurance work, we provide our patients with a platform for easy feedback. Our patient-centered approach helps us get out the word about who we are through online reviews and word-of-mouth referrals.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
You have to know what your product is. Once you know that, you have to know who your product is marketed to, and then, start building that relationship from there.
