We were excited to learn all about Foothills Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Administrator, Rod Johnston.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Foothills Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center stand apart from its competitors. Rod said that they have been a part of the community for 27 years and have even been able to work with multiple generations within families. They are well-respected and have a great reputation.
Rod shared:

Building Success And Giving Back
In addition to building the kind of online reputation that any small business would envy, Foothills Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center has spread the word about who they are and what they do by being active and accessible members of their community. They participate in local health fairs, so they can give people the opportunity to see what they do and so they can offer free advice and tips. Rod told us an endearing story about when Rod and his wife, who own the business, first started out.
“When we named the business Foothills Physical Therapy, we didn’t take into account that a nearby town, Maribel, TN, is closer to the actual foothills of the Smoky Mountains, and there are many businesses in Maribel with ‘Foothills’ in their name. Because of this, many people think that the clinic is located in Maribel because of their name, which they are not! Foothills Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center is located in Knoxville, and we want people to know that!”
