We wanted to learn a little more about this award-winning business and its stellar online reputation, so we took a few minutes to talk with Melissa Wright, Office Manager at Wright Way Plumbing.
The first question we had for Melissa was what sets Wright Way Plumbing apart from the many other plumbing companies in South Carolina. Here’s her response:
“We’re just doing things correctly! Nine times out of 10, the complaints I hear about our competitors are they didn’t show up, didn’t finish the job or charged them more than they said. We just try to show up on time, make sure the job is finished and make sure that we do our best to not have to make a return trip.”

“We don’t even ask for [reviews]. We have an app that our guys use that lets our customers know when we’re in route, when the job is done and if we need to come back. Every now and then, a technician will ask for a review, but mostly, we just try to be on time and let our guys know that a good reputation is hard to earn and easy to lose.”
When asked how Wright Way Plumbing has gotten their name out there outside of building a powerful online reputation, Melissa said:
“We’re in the phone book. We used to do some radio ads, but haven’t done that for nine months. Most of our business is word of mouth! We have Facebook, but we don’t really advertise on it. We have our website, so people can find us [online]. We’re also on several geo sites through our phone book ad.”
