The owner of Carmen’s Cocina II, Luis Araujo, took some time to speak with us about his business’ incredible online success.
Of course, the very first thing we asked Luis about was what it is that sets his business apart from the many other restaurants in Kansas. Luis credits their standout reputation to the high quality of their fresh food, saying, “We make everything fresh every day… we’re not keeping excessive ingredients on hand. This is more of a kitchen than a restaurant.”

Luis is a man of faith and believes that his business’ success is, in large part, thanks to a higher power. Beyond that, he and his team put excellent customer service above all else. When we asked about his secret to success, he said “Honestly, I don’t have a secret. God is so good! People come, we show them love, and they give it back to us!”
