Not Your Average Restaurant
We were excited to learn all about Lawrence Park Dinor and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the owner, Becky Standley.
Lawrence Park Dinor is the only restaurant in Pennsylvania that is listed on the historic registry. Guests can come in and feel what it would have been like to enjoy a meal in the 50s. They were even awarded for the restoration of the building through Preservation Erie. Becky told us:
“When we bought the diner, we put out a statement saying that our primary goal is to make sure your visit is a pleasant experience, from the family-friendly atmosphere to the tasty items on our menu. We strive to use quality products purchased from local suppliers and farmers to provide you with a memorable dining experience. We hope you enjoy your step back in time, and we thank you for breaking the chain and choosing to dine with us. Our vision is to become a food time capsule that our customers can’t wait to experience again”

Lawrence Park Dinor has earned a fantastic reputation, so we asked Becky how they have managed to grow their business and get their name out. Becky said that they post their soups and specials on Facebook, and that they have been asking their customers for reviews.
