We wanted to know what makes Washington DC’s number one restoration company so special, so we took a few minutes to talk with Vice President of Business Development, Tom Plant.
The first question we had for Tom was what makes Paul Davis Restoration unique compared to their competition in Washington DC. Here’s what he had to say:
“Paul Davis has been around since 1966. Our primary business, literally since 1966, has been to provide emergency services and restoration to people who have suffered water damage, fire damage or storm damage. It’s not as though we came from another industry because we thought this was an interesting business to be in; we’ve always been in this business. We think we understand what the customer really needs, and we think we’re pretty darn good at providing that service.”
Tom went on to say:
“We’ve gotten where we are thanks to a lot of training and putting in the effort to find the right people to work for this company. It definitely takes a special person to get up in the middle of the night and go a long way to help somebody, and not everyone on the street is excited about doing that for a living. We’re very careful about who we hire, and we want to make sure those people are really focused on taking care of our customers.”
