We were excited to learn all about how Odyssey Contracting has been able to build such an impressive reputation, so we sat down with the owner, Sean Holmes.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Odyssey Contracting stand apart from other contractors in North Carolina. Sean told us that their sales reps are very well trained. According to Sean, they know what they’re doing and will not over-promise anything to their clients. He said that making money is not a short-term goal of theirs; they are more focused on the long-term goal of building relationships with their clients and earning referrals.
Sean also shared:
“One of the big things is our philosophy: It’s great when everything goes right, but it’s more important how you handle things when things don’t go 100-percent right. We aren’t shy to spend when it comes to projects; we don’t go cheap on products, and we give the best to our customers.”
Building Success By Building Customer Relationships
Outside of building a strong reputation online, Sean tells us that they also market and grow their business by making it a priority to continue the education and training of their employees. They are heavily referral based, and focus on building relationships with their clients.
