We were excited to learn all about how STOR-N-LOCK Self Storage has been able to build such an impressive reputation, so we sat down with the Location Manager, Araceli Iglesias.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes STOR-N-LOCK Self Storage stand apart from their local competitors. We learned that customer service is truly valued at this storage facility.
“We honor our customers. We pay attention to them, and pay attention to what they need and what makes them happy. It’s about us being there for them, and giving them what they need. ‘We see you’ is our policy, and we mean that.”
Araceli went on to tell us about the rising need for safe and reliable self-storage. She told us about Colorado’s changing housing market, and the fact that the extenuating circumstances of people moving, being put out of their home, or needing to find a more affordable option should not affect the safety and wellbeing of their belongings. Araceli says:
“We aren’t just providing storage for our customers anymore; we are providing somewhere for them to keep their belongings safe. We’re here to protect what belongs to them.”

In addition to being known for their incredible customer service, Araceli told us that she seeks out learning and networking opportunities by going to her competitors, apartment complexes, and real estate offices in order to have a greater understanding of what’s happening in the community and what kinds of services people are looking for. It’s no surprise that word-of-mouth referrals have been their greatest source for new business.

“I stand very strongly in that you need to see your customer. Listen to your customer. Value them, and let them know, ‘Hey, I’m here.’ Treat them with respect, as somebody who needs something, and you can provide that to them… A business is really all about how you treat the customer. If you treat them like a king or a queen, people will want to do business with you.”
