North Dakota’s Top Rated Local® Self Storage Centers Award Winner: Verazity Storage

Top Rated Local® is pleased to announce that Verazity Storage is an award winner for self storage centers in 2019.

If you are looking for a top-notch storage center, look no further than this amazing company!

Verazity Storage has received many overwhelmingly positive reviews across two different verified sites with an average rating of 4.83 stars, earning them an impressive Rating Score™ of 93.27 and a 2019 Top Rated Local award for ranking as one of the top three self storage centers in North Dakota!

Here’s just one of their many five-star reviews:

“These guys are friendly and easy to get ahold of. They allow you to set up automatic payments and send the receipts via email so there are no hidden charges. When I called to end my rental, they waived the 30-day notification requirement. [I] highly recommend [this company]. [They are the] best rental folks I’ve dealt with so far.” – M.K.

It is because of excellent reviews like this that Verazity Storage is now able to call themselves a Top Rated Local award winner!

Not Your Average Self Storage Center

We were excited to learn more about how Verazity Storage has managed to create such an impressive reputation, so we took the time to chat with the owner/president/CEO, Jon Miller. The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that is different about Verazity that helps them to stand out from the competition. Here’s what he had to say:

“People have the ability to get ahold of us. A lot of my customers, once we build a relationship, I’ll ask them if it’s okay if I text them. I’ll text them from my personal cell phone number so they have that on hand and they can communicate with me anytime during the day or night. A lot of people would rather text than talk on the phone, which is why we have our online chat feature. No one’s even close to where we are on social media. We do a lot on Facebook — Facebook ads, giveaways, interacting with customers, communicating with the community and branding ourselves.”

After hearing about their Facebook presence, we wanted to know what Verazity does offline to help build their reputation.

“Marketing is huge. We’re a part of all the business development stuff. We’re part of a couple of organizations that we meet regularly. We are a part of the Fargo Chamber of Commerce; we’ve got a bunch of relationships there. We network with realtors around town, and that’s huge. I work with a bunch of realtors, and I actually just started a podcast where I bring in anybody in the Fargo Moorhead area who is in a business that we feel is at the top of their field…So I’m providing them value and then at the same time they’re getting to know our facilities and our name. We get a bunch of connections in town that way.”

Building Success and Giving Back

“We love to give back to the community. There are a couple of organizations in town that we certainly give back to, like the Lutheran mission to Ethiopia and Cares for Kids Radiothon; we’re a huge sponsor to that.”

We asked Jon what advice he might have for other businesses who are looking to build their reputation the way Verazity Storage has. Jon shared:

“It’s a daily process. A lot of businesses [ask], ‘Hey, how do you get an online presence on Facebook? How do Facebook ads work?’ It’s day by day; [you] just build your community slowly. There’s no secret where all of a sudden you get 3000 followers or people interacting with your posts. It’s just a day-to-day grind building an online presence and commenting on people’s posts. I try to stay away from selling. I don’t try to sell. My way is to try to provide value, provide feedback, and then if they ever do need storage, I’ll tell them, ‘Hey, we’re here for you,’ but I really try to stay away from selling. It’s more like, give, give, give, give, and every once in a while, I’ll ask.”

Congratulations to Verazity Storage for being a 2019 Top Rated Local award winner, and special thanks to Jon Miller for taking the time to speak with us! Check out their website, and don’t forget to listen to their podcast!
