Owner, Robert J. Johnson sat down with us to provide a detailed look into how A New Outlook Counseling Services garnered such a positive online reputation.
What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
When it comes down to it, if you want something, you’ve got to ask for it. We ask our clients for reviews whenever appropriate and also send out text message campaigns to stay connected.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
We’ve been helping people through our long-term recovery services for nearly 20 years. That has taught us a lot of valuable lessons both personally and professionally. We’ve gained a great deal of empathy through our work, and we take pride in being compassionate and relatable.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
We fully believe that a strong team is a key to success in all areas of life. Our marketing strategy consists of working with a PR and media coach, as well as writing optimized blogs on our website. We also work hard to maintain a strong social media presence on Twitter and Facebook.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Beyond all else, focus on helping others. That’s what it’s all about. The people you serve will be able to tell if that is your intention, and they’ll feed off of it. We also believe that all of our success can be attributed to learning from people who know more than us and have different or even greater experience than we do. We’re constantly learning.
