What is your secret to such a strong online reputation?
We always do what we say we’ll do and follow through. Our customers realize that, and they spread the word about it. Having potential customers see those reviews gives them the peace of mind knowing that we’ll take care of them.
We also get calls from customers all the time saying that they only need something small done, but for us, no job is too small. We’ll always do whatever we can to help our clients.
What makes you different? In other words, if you had one minute to sell somebody on why they should choose you, what would you say?
We truly value what our customers think about our work. If at the end of a job, a customer says, “Wow, my yard looks better than it did before you came!”, we’ve succeeded. Our philosophy is to always leave it better than we found it.
Why do you do what you do? In other words, what is your mission and/or how do you attempt to make the world a better place?
The family atmosphere we’ve created makes coming to work every day worthwhile. Because we take such great care of our customers year-round, it also allows us to take great care of our employees, too.
Outside of building a strong online reputation, what else do you do to market and grow your business?
We make it a point to always answer our phone. People want to talk to real people, especially in the digital age. We are the face of our business, and we take that responsibility seriously.
What advice do you have for other businesses trying to build a strong online reputation and grow their business?
Make sure that you stay relevant to your customers. Additionally, it’s important not to be lazy, to ask for reviews and to always do what you say you will. Last but not least, don’t be afraid of a client who is upset or difficult. When you prove to them that you’ll do whatever you can to make it right and meet their needs, they can turn into your best ambassadors.
