Amy, who is the Office Manager at Gold Cross Urgent Care and a day-one employee, generously gave us a few minutes of her time to tell us about this award-winning business and its fantastic online reputation.
The first question we had for Amy was what is it that sets Gold Cross Urgent Care apart from their competition in Arkansas. Here’s her response:
“We’re open seven days a week, so if you are sick on a Saturday morning, we are ready to go. Our offices open Monday through Saturday 9 am – 7 pm and Sundays 1 pm – 6 pm. We are basically a walk-in-clinic. We take people up until the minute we close; if someone comes in two minutes to close, we will see you! We are in the middle between the primary care doctor and the ER and have a variety of services that will be beneficial. We know our limitations, if there is something we cannot handle, we will get you to the right place. We try to handle as much as we can at the clinic, so that people do not have to wait five hours at the ER. We do take primary care patients, and you can be seen at your convenience. We’ll manage all your medicines, etc. We’re the best of both worlds. We serve people and are all about our community and how we can help them in the long run.”
Amy went on to add:
“We have a great staff, and our owners live in El Dorado and are really committed to working with the community.”
We also wanted to know how the team at Gold Cross Urgent Care works to make the world a better place. Here’s what Amy had to say:
“We do school physicals. In our rural satellite clinic, we are a medical team that assists with the football, basketball, etc. We see patients, from children to adults. We want to support the community by participating in health fairs. Several times a year, we do blood pressure checks, A1C checks and work with the American Heart Association to get blood pressure down. We try not to turn anyone down if we can help them.”
Building Success Through Customer Service
Amy told us that she and her team strive to provide next-level customer service for their patients from the time they walk in the door to the time they leave. They make it a point to ensure that the patient feels like they are important, and they address their patients’ needs as much as they can and always follow up with them.
