Not Your Average Urgent Care Center
We were excited to learn all about Midwest Express Clinic and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Chief Operating Officer, Sangeet.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes Midwest Express Clinic stand apart from its competitors. Sangeet told us a bit about what makes them unique:
“My family runs our company, and it isn’t your typical healthcare center. We are a lot more affordable than the ER, and we are really community-oriented. We go the extra mile for our patients and make sure that all of our patients are taken care of and are satisfied after the visit. No one can compete with us, because we spend that extra time with our patients. We have a lot of continuity of care, as opposed to when you go to an ER, where most people don’t follow up. We want to make sure you are taken care of through the whole process and not just pass you off.”
He continued, telling us a bit more about how they care for their patients:
“We give out superhero masks, lollipops, and stickers to make the kids feel awesome. Being a family-owned business, you have to be able to follow through on your experience, because there are so many other healthcare providers out there. We don’t treat patients like they are just a number; we make them feel special. Healthcare is so broken these days, and we want to challenge that and help people.”
We asked Sangeet if he could tell us about the Midwest Express Clinic business mission. He said:
“Our mission is to get patients the care and treatment they deserve. We open locations where access to healthcare is limited. We are different and want to help everyone who needs care, regardless of their financial situation. We treat people at a cost that is reasonable. We take care of our staff, create a family culture, and make sure people are treated with respect.”
