We were excited to learn all about how Southern Family Urgent Care has been able to build such an impressive reputation, so we sat down with the owner and Nurse Practitioner, Mandy.
We were excited to learn about what it is that makes Southern Family Urgent Care stand apart from their local competitors. For Mandy, it all comes down to care. She says that one big difference between Southern Family Urgent Care and other urgent care centers is that this is a nurse practitioner-owned clinic. Because of that, she is able to control the overhead costs while also providing great service. Mandy says:
“Most places have to compromise between care and cash. I don’t see this as a money maker.”
Mandy opened her business after getting experience working at several other urgent care centers. She wanted to make sure that hers was a care center that did not charge extra fees or run unnecessary tests. Mady shared with us:
“I wanted to treat patients like I would want my family to be treated. I treat every patient the same as well, regardless of insurance, stature, status, etc.”
