Not Your Average Veterinary Clinic
We were excited to learn all about McGee Street Animal Hospital and how they have gotten where they are today, so we sat down with the Office Manager, Karry Winfield.
The first thing we wanted to know was what it is that makes McGee Street Animal Hospital stand apart from its competitors. Karry told us that they genuinely care about animals and customer satisfaction. They want customers to know that their pets are safe and loved in their facility. They do all they can to give the best possible care to every pet they come in contact with, even when that means making time in an already full schedule.
Kerry told us about another service they offer:
“We do offer boarding as well, and our staff is amazing. They brush them, play with them, and we have frisbees and tennis balls. The staff will lay with nervous pets in their kennels to comfort them. Our staff just really cares about animals. They are just top-notch. They have the ability to notice if an animal is in distress, or if an animal has an emergency, and we have the resources to get a tech or a doctor in to care for the animal. They are well-trained in a wide variety of services.”
A part of what makes McGee Street Animal Hospital so special is the long list of services they offer. They provide laser therapy treatment to help animals with post-surgical recovery time, TTA (Tibial Tuberosity Advancement) surgeries, and underwater therapy.
In addition to everything else they do, McGee Street Animal Hospital also offers DNA tests for rescue dogs!
Building Success And Giving Back

“We have a pink Christmas tree in our office that has become a permanent staple. We are going to start doing little contests with different prizes, one of them being a picture-taking with our staple pink tree!”
