In order to learn more about this one-of-a-kind business and its impressive online reputation, we took a few minutes to talk with Rhonda Ritter, Practice Manager/Technician at Safe Harbor Animal Hospital.
The first question we had for Rhonda was what sets Safe Harbor Animal Hospital apart from their competition in Michigan. Here’s her response:
“We explain the why. If you don’t help the clients understand why we do this, they won’t understand how necessary the follow-through is. We want to keep the animals in their homes. We also want to give the owners all of their options, so that they can make the best decision for their animal. We also do a lot of following up. We continue to provide care as best we can, even after the animal has left the hospital. All of our staff are Fear Free Veterinary certified, too!”
Rhonda went on to add:
“We have a lot of people that will come to us with difficult animals, and we are able to provide veterinary care to even the most difficult cases!”

I do marketing through Demandforce and through email communication. I have hired someone to do marketing for us, and we’re going to be moving forward with some of that on a bigger platform. I’m trying to get people back to our website, so we’re working on updating that.”
