CFL Screens

Terrible customer service. My patio has been leaking since CFL screens did the install. They did come out several months later just for it to still leak and now we have several more spots leaking. My entire patio is unable to be used when it’s raining due to all the leaks. If you call, you will get a robotic response that someone will call you back about warranty work. Still waiting!

We had hurricane damage to our pool enclosure and contacted CFL Screens to do the replacement. At that time I informed CFL Screens that we were no longer residing at the house but we were doing our due diligence to have the screen replaced while we were waiting for the house to be sold. We signed the contract and gave CFL the deposit. CFL took down the old screen and started some drawings. During this time we settled on the house and we were told the new owner would not complete the screening process. I reviewed our contract with CFL and did not see any provision for cancellation i.e. forfeiture of remaining deposit, etc. I contacted CFL twice and was contacted by them once and I explained the situation. I also asked for a final bill and any part of the deposit that was not used to remove the screen and to prepare the drawings. Since my last contact in December of 2017 I have not heard anything back. I'm not expecting much but I can't imagine that it costs more than the deposit I made to tear down a screen. I see where CFL states they are a 'faith based' system. That would mean to me they would charge a fair price for a fair job. I have no problems with the job they did, however I do believe since the contract had no provisions for cancellation I should have been refunded (or at least given a final bill that explains the time/materials used) the monies that were not used.

I have contacted this company every month about my screen they put in and each time I was informed that someone will get back to me but nothing yet .

The whole crew was great. David gave a great bid, The installers were professional and friendly. We had scheduled a few days earlier, but rain cancelled the install (can't use electric saws in the rain!). During the install, the guys noticed that some of the supports were scratched. Rather than just put them in and hope I didn't see, they actually stopped working, and drove back to their supplier, and obtained new materials. This caused them to take longer than expected for the install, but it shows that they care about quality. How many other installers would do that? The fact that the offer a 5 year warranty just caps it off. My wife is thrilled with the results.
