Complete Canine Training

Complete Canine Training was terrific for us. We had a bit of a special case- our dog Hank, a Cane Corso mix, wasn’t adjusting well to our newborn daughter. He was a big lovable goof of a dog so we didn’t know he’d react so badly to her. So while we adjusted to life as new parents, Hank went away to train with the best! He can be stubborn, so we now have an understanding of how to be firm with him instead of letting him walk all over us. Even though he was the one who went away for weeks, I feel we humans received equal training and guidance from the handlers at this facility. Chris, Cody, and Chris were all terrific. They each had individualized knowledge and were very patient with both us and Hank as we all tried to take in tons of new information. The biggest difference we saw in them from other trainers is that they seemed to genuinely care about Hank, not just in breaking his bad habits, but in rewarding him and showing him some love. I was truly afraid he wouldn’t be the same goofball we sent away, I was worried they would break his spirit. But they took good care of our boy (all while teaching him that his behaviors wouldn’t be tolerated, and that he didn’t get to make the rules). These guys brought us in for some special training with the baby there, which isn’t typical of what they do but was much appreciated so that we didn’t have to have the first interaction between dog and baby all by ourselves. And ultimately they made sure we were comfortable with everything before taking him home again. Like I said, we were a special case, and I felt they really went out of their way to help us where they could.

If I could give more stars for this, I would! Service was beyond exceptional!! I was updated almost daily with my puppy's progress and how well she was doing. Communication and responsiveness of my questions were given with an outstanding sense of urgency. The day I picked up my puppy, not only did the trainers explain how to continue the training on my own well, but they also ensured I understood "why" their techniques were so important to my pup. I would absolutely recommend Complete Canine Training to ANYONE looking or "shopping around" the best quality at the best price! My puppy returned to me with every skill I wanted her to know! We had trouble with my dog’s separation anxiety and aggression toward other dogs. After his training, we learned that he actually wants to play with other dogs now! He’s so calm and well behaved after his few weeks at school. It’s like we have a whole new dog and we can tell he’s much happier. It’s worth every single penny just to know our dog is happier and it’s a relief to know he will be okay being kenneled or hanging out with other dogs.

This was my first time with board and train with my two newly adopted rescue dogs and I am very pleased with the initial results! I still need to practice their training techniques but things are going very well. The girls learned sit, down, heel, place, free, here, and stay (implied) commands. I really like that we can attend group classes and have other fee-included support throughout the year. I had great responsiveness from Aija throughout the process. The only hiccups were that there was a small communication issue: I was told I would get daily reports/updates on the progress. While I did get updates they weren’t daily. The other minor miscommunication was conflicting information about how often I could visit during their 3-week stay. Those were not major concerns and might not be any concern for others and in the end as the results were great. I’m looking forward to continuing on with Complete Canine! I would strongly recommend working with Complete Canine and will definitely be returning.

My fiancé and I recently got a puppy and we were committed to getting Goose trained. We debated going to a group class once a week or having someone come in to our home to train him. Ultimately we decided to go with the 3 week puppy program with complete canine training. THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER! Chris and his team are so amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable and they answered every single question we had. Goose came back an amazing dog. He listens to us now and follows his commands so well. It was a night and day difference. I am so happy with the service and the results! I would recommend to everyone to try working with Chris and his team because my goodness they are AMAZING! I am so proud to call Goose our dog and cannot wait to continue our training relationship with complete canine training!

Chris was always polite and on top of things. He took such good care of my dog and offers top notch dog training. I could not recommend complete canine training enough. They were amazing.

I dropped off 2 very rambunctious dogs for a 2 week board and train. When I picked them I almost had to take them to the vet and get the chips scanned to make sure they were mine. The difference in behavior was amazing and I can't say thank you enough to Comete Canine for the excellent job they did.

We purchased a two week board and train for our tough case 1.5 year old Lab Mix. Chris immediately knew he would have some trouble bonding with the dog. Informed us immediately and provided pictures and videos of their progress. When it came time to pick him up, Chris asked for a few more days to work with our dog at no charge. He did a fantastic job. Appreciated the extra service and commitment to excellence for our special case. 100% worth the cost which I originally felt was steep.

Prior to sending our dog to Chris from Complete Canine Training, we researched over a dozen companies in the Denver Metro area. After narrowing our search to three top companies, we selected Chris. This was an easy choice as even from our first phone call, it was evident how responsive, passionate, professional, and transparent he was. Our adopted dog, Simba, was 14 weeks when he entered, and was ready for pickup about 3 weeks later. We have had Simba for a for a few days now and can really tell the difference. He is well mannered, calm, and listens to commands. This is especially important as he is always around our 18-month-old daughter. There is a lot to talk about Chris, but if you are looking to train your dog, we highly recommend giving him a call. In addition, Complete Canine has a dedicated, clean, and well setup training facility that sits on a few acres of land. This provides them the space and resources needed to train their dogs to whatever is requested- from protection to general household behavior. We have already referred him to our family and friends, and will be sending our next adopted dog to him!
