When I first got hearing aids 6 years ago, I thought my hearing loss wasn't that noticeable to others. But my two granddaughters noticed right away - they told their mother "grandma can hear us now!" I had no idea they knew. Two weeks ago I got new hearing aids, the technology has changed so much it's amazing. They have a program setting for restaurant background noise which helps so much. And now I can still hear my husband when he turns away from me, even if he's five feet away. I feel confident knowing that I am not missing things or asking people to repeat.
