When we found we had bedbugs, we were dreading the cost of heat treatment or the toxicity of pesticides. We were thrilled when Susan brought in her dog, Magic, who assured us our infestation was limited. And when Susan told us about promising results from a new nontoxic green product, Cimi-Shield, that she was trying out, we were grateful to be some of her first test subjects. She worked incredibly hard applying it to all possible surfaces, provided excellent education to us about bedbug behavior and how we should approach eradication, and also comforted and encouraged us through the weeks it took for the Cimi-Shield to rid us of the last bugs. We continued running our bedding through the dryer on high heat until we'd gone 3 weeks with no bites, and we've now been bite free for months.
