In January, 2015, I was referred to Audiology Innovations Ltd. by our family doctor in respect of a perceived hearing issue. The results of the subsequent hearing test defined a moderate to severe hearing impairment in the higher frequencies of of the sound spectrum in the left and right ears, respectively. In reviewing my test results and discussing the negative consequences of uncorrected hearing loss, Dr. Scarff not only demonstrated her high level of professional knowledge and expertise, she showed a refreshing level of of clarity, candor and empathy that one does not always encounter across the street in the public health system. Long story short, I needed hearing aids to correct the hearing deficit and my subsequent decision to follow Dr. Scarff's recommendations in selecting the appropriate hearing devices was a no-brainer. That was two and a bit years ago and I'm pleased to report that the hearing aids I purchased from Audio Innovations ltd. have performed as advertised and my hearing range has improved remarkably. Just ask my wife. This is not a facetious comment. Hearing loss is serious business that if left unchecked will not only degrade the sufferer's quality of life but also the quality of life of those who have to live with him/her/them. One final comment: when I walked out the door with my new state of the art hearing aids the folks at Audio Innovations Ltd. did not leave me to my own devices (no pun intended). The technical support has been excellent. Any and all care and maintenance questions, performance concerns, minor repair/replacement issues or re-supply of those teeny-tiny Cerustop filters have been promptly taken care of by Dr. Scarff's team of always pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Now, that's performance. Kudos to Audio Innovations Ltd.
