I learned about this business and the changes in long term care (LTC) coverage from the Kiro radio program on Saturday mornings. It took a while to decide to attend one of the seminars. I was pleased to find that it could be more affordable and policies would allow for an investment return if LTC was not used. Having shared personal experiences from both Brian and Madalyn helped to keep any skepticism I may have had at bay. My husband and I were treated respectfully and we found their answers to any questions helpful and honest. As a former federal employee, I was not able to justify the cost of LTC insurance offered to us since the cost increased with age each year or so and all investments were "use it or lose it". I learned changes in the laws and changes in LTC policies included policies with an investment/inheritance component. Brian and Madalyn were always available to answer any questions or concerns as they guided me through the review and application process without my feeling pressured to make a decision to purchase a LTC policy/investment. I am comforted in knowing my children will not have to sacrifice their health or their savings to care for me in the future if I am unable to care for myself.
