I chose a dog with heartworm and fear issues. They were up front with me on her issues and medical treatments and were quite concerned with the type of home she needed during fostering and eventual adoption, especially if I could provide it for her. I appreciate their concerns for the dog's lifetime well being. Lily has become self-assured and now has a little happy-dance. I think she'll always be a bit skittish with loud noises, but has come a long way. She's happy, I'm happy. Friday's Rescue was a good choice.
