It’s been seven years since Peter and crew finished an extensive kitchen/great room remodel in our home, and to this day we deeply appreciate the beauty, quality and functionality of their work. The difference was apparent from day one when Peter brought people from each function to assess the work (electrical, structural, plumbing). Thanks to this extra initial effort, Peter’s bid was accurate and there were no surprises once walls were torn down. Home remodeling contractors are notorious for delays and cost overruns due to unexpected developments. Peter’s team met their eleven-week timeline. TO. THE. DAY. Regarding people: It’s always a risk to have unknown people in your home. In our experience, there isn’t a more trustworthy or pleasant person than Peter. His employees and subcontractors are cut from the same cloth—people who set your mind at ease around your belongings, your children and their ability to do quality work. Peter sent frequent and detailed updates throughout the remodel. He was here almost every day and was a pleasure to work with. He is a trustworthy, dedicated, thoughtful and all-around good person. There will be follow ups, and Peter has always gone above and beyond. We have reached out to Peter a few times over the years for various questions. The latest was last year (six years after completion of the project) when some of our under-cabinet lights had expired. These are specialty items, so we had to reach out to Peter for guidance on replacing them. Within a day or so from our call, Peter had ordered the lights for us at cost. He ended up delivering them and installing them himself and then taught us how to do it ourselves next time. Who does that six years after the work is done? Peter does. While one Yelp reviewer posted a poor rating due to not getting enough attention in their showroom, our experience is that Pacific Northwest Cabinetry deserves the highest rankings across the board from the design and bidding process to the final finishes being done on time to the confidence that they are “there for us” seven years after the work.
