had thyroid removed. for me it was an extremely easy procedure. post op the only pain was a minor pain when swallowing which did not require any of the pain killers I was prescribed or even a simple aspirin. dr. gill was GREAT! he recorded his notes in doctor speak but in communicating with me everything was in plain English. much appreciated.
