The overheard pulley has broken three times now since I have had this new system installed. I have had it repaired by a rep from Raynor twice, however, this last time I had to do it myself. The screws don’t stay intact and continue to come loose, so that every so often the pieces come apart and the door won’t open at all. I spray the hinges every six months with the oil the tech gave me, as I was instructed to do. As I have only had this system for a year and a half, this is really disappointing. Also, when the sun hits the sensors just right the door will not close from the remote opener. I have to get out of the car each time and go to the keypad and hold the power down until the door closes. This happens ALL summer long!!! Very inconvenient. I like the guys in the shop, but I would have been to think twice about recommending this system.
