My experience buying LTC insurance from 525 was probably better than I had with any other financial asset or insurance policy purchase I've made. I greatly appreciate their educational approach and their great patience. It takes time and study to figure out exactly what is optimal for your individual situation and then time for to be sure that you are fully comfortable with such a major decision. Because of a medication I take, only two of the top eight LTC insurance companies were willing to consider me. My first broker only offered me one option each at the remaining two companies. If those options were truly my only choices, I have not doubt I would not have purchased any LTC insurance and would still be worrying about a hole in my financial plan after retirement. After attending their seminar which comes with an excellent educational booklet, I realized that actually I did have quite a few more choices than what I'd been told. It took some time and some detailed guidance, but I eventually decided on a policy that worked for me and gave me great piece of mind. There's no free lunch, so it really helps to have have someone who understands what the trade offs are and is there to tutor you through it. On top of the great service on choosing a policy, Brian and Madalyn also helped me get the underwriting over the finish line when it appeared to be stalled. Of course, there's no guarantee that whatever you do will turn out exactly how you might have hoped. But I am completely comfortable with my decision and am very grateful to 525 Advisors for their expert help.
