We hired Brenda's house cleaning to perform a deep clean/move in clean on a 2500 sqft home. We agreed at most it should take 1 day or 8 hours of cleaning. Overall, the house wasn't extremely filthy, just dirty from the previous owners failing to clean while moving out, general dusting, wiping things out, etc. For the purposes of this review, I will leave names out, but Cleaner #1 arrived and spent 7 hours in the home, making it through half of the house. After reviewing the clean, we found that the items we specified we wanted clean and the specifications of the clean we wanted were not satisfactory. I called Brenda's House Cleaning back to let them know Cleaner #1 did not clean the home fully as they made it through half of the house and the half that was said to have been cleaned was not to the specifications and detail that we were requesting. Brenda's response was to send another cleaner to do a re-clean at NO CHARGE. Cleaner #2 showed up I believe it was the next day and I walked them around. They agreed that the first clean was not done correctly or up to the standards of Brenda's House Cleaning. They were very persistent that they re-clean EVERYTHING to the standards of the company and to our specifications. Cleaner #2 spent the approx. 7 hours re-cleaning everything Cleaner #1 did on the first day. After those 7 hours, the second cleaner did pretty decent work for the most part. Mind you, one of the specific things we wanted cleaned were our windows. There was a lot of dirt and grime in there. We also wanted our cabinets vacuumed and wiped out. We agreed that Cleaner #2 could return to finish cleaning the remainder of the home because for what it's worth, she was doing a decent job from what we could tell. Cleaner #2 arrived a day and a half later to finish the job they were providing and spent 4 hours to finish. Brenda agreed not to invoice us until the next week(it was going into the weekend) to check up with me on how the clean went. I never heard back from Brenda until we received the invoice(On a Saturday even though she said she wasn't going to until after talking with us.) We were charged for 18.5 hours of cleaning after being told we wouldn't be charged for the re-clean of 7 hours. According to Brenda, she discounted all but 2 hours of Cleaner #1's time which was 7 hours. If those numbers were to be correct, that doesn't add up to 18.5 hours. I'm no math person, but I count 13 at max if we're including the 2 hours of Cleaner #1's time. As soon as i received Brenda's invoice for the services provided, I immediately(literally the same day) replied and asked for a breakdown as the numbers were high at 45.00 per hour for a total of 12 hours. She responded three days later just stating her hourly rate and that she discounted something, but never responded to how the numbers equaled 18.5 hours. Additionally, she stated we had 6.5 bathrooms, but I wish I knew where that house was! I responded on the same day and corrected her multiple times that we have a 2500 sqft house with 3.5 bathrooms. From that day on, I had no additional response for her, waiting ofr her to want to resolve this issue, but 8 days later, I still hadn’t heard anything from her. I followed back up since I hadn’t recieved a response from Brenda stating that we didn't have 6.5 bathrooms (because that's what she told me over the phone) and that we were told we wouldn't be charged for the first cleaner's time since the second cleaner said they didn't do good at all the first time. We have been going to Eagle Animal Hospital since we first moved to Kansas City in 2016 for our kitty. Next thing you know, we have a dog and not just any dog, an English Bulldog. Eagle's services, staff, and vets are VERY helpful and of course love the animals to pieces. We never have to tell them who we are as they know us by name and that's that. They are all so very personable, understanding, helpful, and of course professional. We love the services Eagle offers and are very pleased with the experiences that we have had. When there's a problem they try their best for the most part to correct the issue at hand and most times they are able to correct the issue. I completely recommend Eagle to those who are thinking of going. You won't find any other place like home other than Eagle. Our Winston is always so excited to go to the Daycare and just gets super happy the minute we pull in. You won't find a better team for your animals other than Eagle Animal Hospital!
