We selected the firm initially because the Paralegal, Sandy, was exceptional, listened well and gave the feeling she cared about our family; she also spoke very highly of Chip. In working with Chip, our family was being taken advantage of by an attorney trying to keep us from refinancing our home by refusing to release the home lien unless we paid him money not legally owed. Chip, was prompt to address the problem through some strong communication, he also took time to research the situation to validate our position, he then negotiated a settlement for much less than was being demanded and was very aware of the need for timely resolution. It was hard to pay any settlement when you knew you didn’t owe any money, but it was very appreciated by our family to have someone with the intellect to know when a settlement is more beneficial than a lawsuit and provide sound advice.
