We have been mostly happy with the caregivers assigned to us. We know we have a strange schedule to accommodate so I try to inform you at least 2 weeks in advance of our needs. Some of the newer caregivers have not been trained in dealing with dementia so I have found that I have to stay present in the house even though the caregiver is there. Also, having a new caregiver every other day is disruptive to my husband with his dementia. The caregivers try to do the best they can in a new setting and that sometimes works and sometimes not. I still like your service and am glad we have you.

Having been a client for over a full year, I can honestly say, the experience became better, stronger, and more valuable as time passed. Yes, there have been some very strong caregivers and some weaker ones. When I would voice concerns, you responded appropriately and took action. The last several months have been a true blessing!! With 3 or 4 caregivers who knew us (patient and spouse) well, knew our routine, and were also caring, compassionate, and conscientious, prompted me to want to continue with Family Resource. However, Patient's needs increased with time and he needed more than what caregivers and I could fulfill. Moving him out of our home was extremely difficult. If his new situation does not work out, he may be brought back home and more help brought in. THANK YOU most sincerely for all you have done for us. We'll be forever grateful.
