I can agree with these reviews. Happier Living has terrible customer service. And they'll just charge you randomly for a missed appointment NINE MONTHS LATER. One morning, I woke up to a $115 charge. When I questioned it, they said it was justified per my contract since, according to them, I wasn't initially charged for the session. When I showed them the receipt for the appointment, they stopped responding to my emails. Sorely disappointing.

Please go to ANY other psychiatric provider for your own sake!!!!!! I'm so mad at myself for not looking this place up and reading reviews before I signed up and made an appointment. My story is the same as everyone else who's missed an appointment - had an emergency, they wouldn't accept documentation, they wouldn't charge my insurance and I was billed $500 for missing an appointment with a mediocre nurse practitioner. So basically the cancellation fee for a 40-minute appointment is $500. This place has awful reviews everywhere - yelp, google, and the better business bureau! I've read other reviews of people who had it even worse than me, and issues that were entirely the business' fault. Do yourself a favor and just go anywhere else. I'm so sad that this is happening to so many people. And read all of their reviews and complaints on the BBB website, it's public information!

Please please PLEASE read the reviews everywhere before using this company! They are all the same - BILLING. You will be mismanaged by the billing department and charged for services even if you cancel with advanced notice. SEEK CARE ELSEWHERE!

This company is horrible!!! If you need mental health help, this is the opposite of what you need in your life. First, my husband who was getting therapy didn’t feel like his therapist cared about him at all. She seemed like she was ready to get off the zoom call as soon as it started. Then my husband called into a zoom call that clearly isn’t protected because she was having another session with someone else!! That’s so bad! It’s against hippa laws. The worst happened when my husband had a sudden family death l and had to fly across the country to attend a funeral. Because is his state he missed one appointment and was charged $99 then canceled the next day session he had booked 20 hours instead of 24 and they charged us $371!!!! All in is close to $500. That’s outrageous! I got my cc company to remove charges then THEY CHARGED ME AGAIN! I have called and emailed and no responses. We sent them everything including flight details and The obituary and nothing. I’m horrified at this company. Also, the customer service is all Manila people who have zero control of anything. They take 3-5 hours to call you back too. It’s been a very very negative experience and I can’t believe they are legal. Don’t go here! It breaks my heart to have this situation occur.

TLDR: PREDATORY BUSINESS. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY. I found Happier Living when looking for LOCAL options in Seattle. They paired me with a psychiatrist on the EAST coast who only has appointments available before 8am. I contacted support multiple times and could not get a straight answer about other options. I went through with the appointment and liked the provider, so scheduled my next appointment. Unfortunately, I missed that 7:30am appointment due to medication side effects that have been disrupting my sleep. They changed me HUNDREDS of dollars in fines for a FIRST-TIME missed appointment. This has never happened to me at any other doctor's office in my life. After reading dozens of other people's reports of the same problems, I believe that this business has predatory practices meant to set patients up to fail and then fine them excessively. Totally legal, utterly despicable. STAY AWAY.
