OUR MISSION At Hillsdale Animal Hospital, our mission is to provide high-quality pet health and wellness services to allow your pet to live a longer, happier, and healthier life. We strive to provide our clients with access to cutting-edge veterinary medicine and educational content focusing on enhancing the human-animal bond. ABOUT OUR HOSPITAL Hillsdale Animal Hospital opened its doors in October of 2000 with Dr. Karla Frazier as a solo practitioner. Since that time, we have really grown, expanding to two plus doctors, with associated front desk and medical staff. Our services also expanded to include a boarding kennel, condos for our kitties, and grooming services. Despite our growth, we strive to maintain a family atmosphere that focuses on our patients and their families. In 2015, Dr. Kirk was added to the Hillsdale’s ranks of clinic ownership. She and Dr. Frazier work together to keep our patients as our primary focus. We know that choosing a veterinarian is a big decision and we pledge to earn your trust. Your pet’s care is a collaboration between the doctors, the staff, and you. At Hillsdale Animal Hospital, we offer puppy and kitten care, radiology and laboratory services, senior care, parasite prevention and control, microchipping, dental care, general surgery, laser therapy, sick patient diagnostics and hospitalization, pain management, emergency care, boarding, and grooming services. We also offer additional new services not found at many clinics. Our non-anesthetic dental cleanings offer an alternate way to maintain healthy teeth in appropriate candidates. We also offer wellness plans from puppy/kitten through senior programs, which provide a discounted package of wellness services in twelve monthly payments. We have recently added laser therapy as an option for several chronic conditions and wound healing. We strive to deliver compassionate care, client education, and quality medicine. Our patients are our number one focus. After all, we are not only veterinarians, we are pet owners too! Feel free to call with questions or concerns at any time. We will be happy to help you.

I have been taking my critters to Karla Frazier for 22 years. She always gets down on the their level to greet them, which is wonderful! She is thorough and NEVER rushes through an appointment. All of my lovely furry babies have lived very long, happy and healthy lives.

The entire staff at Hillsdale is amazing.!! We have three dogs and now two cats and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for their care! It is a full service vet clinic and we love that because our fur babies get all their health needs met and they also have a terrific groomer (Sam) on site!! Best clinic ever!!

We were referred to Hillsdale when we moved from Minnesota where our veterinary care was the best in the nation. We were told, "It's where all the hot-shot breeders go." We couldn't be happier with Drs. Frazier and Kirk. They go above and beyond with tough cases. They are connected to the top specialist. They are informed about new research and treatment options. Their staff is superior. We are huge fans - and so are all our dogs.

I was recommended to HAH from friends at Carolina Veterinary Specialists and needless to say, extremely pleased!! My last 6 years of going to the vet (not HAH) for my dog have been nightmare'ish, and traumatic, experiences for both my canine friend and myself—due in part to my dog being deathly afraid of the vet. Working with HAH, however, has been a pleasure from day one. The doctor spoke with me on the phone for 20 min about the mass on my dog, next steps for getting the dog in for a visit/review, and even scheduled time for me to come in for a "pre-visit" to go over a game plan for handling my dog on the actual appointment day. Once the appointment came, the visit went smoothly and without major complications (i.e. no freakout of the dog, poor coping of the vet/staff, etc.) for the first time in over 6 years of countless vet trips. All in all, I could not be more pleased by my experience with HAH and will hands-down recommend HAH to anyone with an animal in the area :)
