I purchased two skimmer lids from their website because it says the item is 7-/4” wide. Perfect- I measured my existing lids and they measure 7-1/4” wide. What arrived were two lids measuring 7-1/2” wide, they obviously are too big to fit. This company won’t send me a return label to pickup the items and give me a full refund even though their website is inaccurate. The CS person said that the measurement is from the bottom of the lid, not the top which fits into the hole in the pool decking. How is a normal person supposed to know that? It doesn’t say this on their website and that doesn’t seem like common knowledge that the everyday consumer would happen to know. They want me to pay to ship these lids back as if I was somehow, magically supposed to know this secret information that someone in the pool industry would know. It doesn’t even make sense - it isn’t a solid, open measurement - there are plastic pieces shooting side to side so it couldn’t sit over piping anyway. Why wouldn’t you have multiple measurements listed on your product page? And how is it my fault that you have no additional information on your website? My order was only $40 - just refund me so I can move on.
