Lakeside Weddings and Events is Las Vegas's most charming al fresco wedding location, offering wedding garden and chapel venues, full-service wedding planning, on-site vendors, and an indoor wedding reception hall. Lakeside Weddings outdoor wedding venue was originally comprised of 3 lakefront garden sites, Heritage Garden, Grand Garden and Royal Garden. A fourth garden area, Swan Garden, was recently added and it can accommodate up to 125 guests. Additionally, the heated, indoor banquet hall and atrium was refurbished, making it an even more attractive wedding reception site. These changes not only give bridal couples another option for their garden wedding chapel ceremony but also allow Lakeside Weddings to extend their wedding package offerings.
Other than the location I cannot recommend this company. My wedding was 11/27/21 and the only thing that was correct in what we paid for and requested was the actual location and the weather. The staff was not helpful with setting up decorations on the tables. The staff was not professionally dressed at all. They looked like they were hired off the street or wearing sweats and/or pajamas. The coordinator Leslie was completely unprofessional, talking to my guests about her "dead husband" and not liking her job and wanting to hopefully meet someone at one of the events she oversees. The flowers were wrong, wrong colors, and wrong boquet style.The food was wrong, and the employees took what was left after the first round, so my guests could not get up and get another serving and the wedding cake was wrong.
An employee stole an envelope with $500 in cash from my parents' right off the table as they got up to dance. When we confronted Leslie, the coordinator with the situation, she ran and locked herself in her office. We asked her to please check the cameras and video and she refused. She offered no apologies or to look into the situation or till this day no feedback. I have called several times and left several messages for Angelina McKenzie and the conpany owner with no call back. The only thing offered were excuses and trying to put blame back on us by Angelina McKenzie.
I left several messages for Angelina McKenzie, Felicia (floral manager) , Alison Johnson (photographer), and the Owner of the company regarding the several issues and still have not heard back from anyone.
You and your company made this bride cry on her wedding day, and you should've made sure it was the best day ever for me, my husband and our guests.
I do not recommend Lakeside Weddings for your wedding. Let's see how long it takes for a response to this review.
