As any parent knows, it can be incredibly difficult to encourage your child to visit the dentist. You could say it’s almost as difficult as pulling teeth. But the fact of the matter is, their dental health is so important! For far too long, seeing the dentist is a scary experience for any kiddo, but here at My Pediatric Dentist Montrose, we decided to change that. Our entire office has been designed to be welcoming and fun for the young ones so that it’s a better experience for everyone involved. I’m so saddened to hear this business has new ownership. Dr. Tippet & staff were amazing with children! From the atmosphere of the sea with a pirate ship & arcade for the kids while they wait, to the bed side manner. The staff jokes & played with the children, even sang to them in an attempt to comfort them. And at the end of the visit children were able to pick a small treasure from the treasure chest! This is a service that is almost impossible to replace. This business will truly all be missed! I appreciated this business so much that I drove 60 miles 1 direction (1 1/2 hours on good roads) just to take my children to them. My family has been there for over 10 years. Although I’m sure the decision was not made lightly I wish them well in their new journey! I do however, hope that the new owners will do their best to keep this business as close to how it was. I know from personal experiences with businesses changing hands this very rarely happens. I would recommend keeping the atmosphere as this encourages children to have a positive experience to visit a dentist. We are all aware many times dental experience are not fun but required & at least the atmosphere gives them the positive to look forward to. Also change for children can be frightening so keeping as much the same as possible would be appreciated by I’m sure all children, parents, & any staff remaining.

My granddaughter had extensive dental work and Dr Tibbits provided the care. He has a wonderful personality for kids. He explains each step in the process as well as the medication she would be taking. Highly recommend.
