Throughout his career, David has continued to developed his knowledge of the human body. With over seven years of experience, David has become a leader in the field of fitness. He has designed his own style of training which focuses on posture, metabolism, pain management, and performance. And, Brittany?s passion for fitness led her to pursue a B.S. degree in Kinesiology and minor in Health Promotion from George Mason University. As a college student-athlete, she gained a strong background in competitive athletics (Division I Rowing). With college athletics now behind her, she enjoys running ½ marathons. As a Certified ACSM Exercise Physiologist, Brittany has experience working with individuals of all fitness abilities in both corporate and commercial settings. Her goal is to provide education and awareness that will inspire and motivate you to have fun while attaining your health and fitness goals. She believes that everyone can find an enjoyable form of exercise and activity to fit their lifestyle!

DAVID NICKUM is my personal trainer. At age 73, after a long stretch at a different gym, and several rounds of Physical Therapy with various providers, I can easily state that he is the best of the best in his field. I have improved more, and faster, under his guidance than with anyone else. Improved, that is, from a dislocated right shoulder, and a damaged left shoulder from long ago; from chronic lower back pain; from on-and-off sciatic pain; and from general weakening of the muscles in my arms, legs, and trunk. (When my left-side sciatic pain became acute and virtually unbearable last summer, David wisely suspended my sessions until I had undergone minimally invasive spinal surgery, which was entirely successful.) DAVID'S attitude is serious and relaxed at the same time; he is able to put a client at ease while conveying that this is serious and must be taken seriously. His storehouse of knowledge is formidable, a vast array of different exercises from which he can pick and choose on the spot to deal with the immediate needs of the particular client at that time in the client's life. If a problem emerges and prevents the client from working well in one area, DAVID can turn "on a dime" and lead the client to a different regime. I highly recommend Dave as a personal trainer. He has a great working knowledge of body mechanics and is intuitively aware of how to adjust and modify the training routine to best deal with all my middle-aged aches and pains. He's got a personable way of encouraging without being being pushy and overbearing. The online tutorials Dave tailored for me have been a helpful way to train on my own in-between sessions.

I am a 67 year young woman who was recouping from a broken ankle. I found David and decided to give him a try rather than going back to the gym....boy am I happy I did - David is very professional, listened to me and then worked with me to strengthen my ankle and also my balance (in hopes that I won't fall again). David is wonderful - I so look forward to my time exercising under his guidance. He has worked with my age, limitations and time constraints ( I travel a lot) - next trip I will be gone for 6 weeks and he has offered to send me a link so I can have it accessible to me and hopefully have the time to do it (or some of it) while I am away. Not sure if I will ever go back to the gym again - David has been a terrific teacher and motivator with great patience. He and his company are the best in the business - highly recommend them.

I have loved all of my sessions with On The Go Fitness Pro. The sessions have been physically challenging and pushed me further than what I would be able to do on my own. There are a variety of trainers with different styles, so you'll be able to find one that is exactly what you are looking for. I've learned so much about mobility, strength, and nutrition. Love the no BS style with scientifically backed strategies for weight loss and muscle gain that have been proven to work. Could not recommend more highly.

I have been working with David for over a year and its been one of the best experiences in physical training that I have ever had. David possesses the specialized knowledge to tailor my workouts to deal with my specific needs and personal issues. In addition to the cardiovascular, strength and stamina training, he has been able to help with specific soft tissue joint problems. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is seriously interested in improving their overall mental and physical health, particularly those of us over 60.

I've been working with Dave for about 8 years. He is effective, tailoring exercises to suit individual needs and abilities while motivating you to push just a little further. I have an irregular work schedule and he's always been quite flexible. He cares about you as a person and helps you attain your goals. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
