Absolutely the worst experience of my life. I made my first payment on the due date, but they said I didn't pay. I sent them, per their request, my bank statement. My bank even sent them a letter. They took the money, but apparently feel that they can scam additional 'payments'. They even once gave me an email address to send my complaint to and I got a bounce back - the address wasn't real. I've got a working address since then, but the only response I get is that I need to send them my bank statement, again. On an endless loop, same thing. This place is a racket - I'd beg on a street corner before I used Oportun again.
Save your hard hits. I have fair credit and make a great salary. After being pre-approved I agreed to a hard credit pull then got denied. This place is a joke!
