This vet clinic and play-care facility is brand new and beautiful. The veterinarians, technicians and front desk staff are fantastic but their vet care prices and prescriptions are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. I recently made an appt. for a standard neuter for my 6 month old pup. The estimate at PR was just south of $400 (for a 12-15 min standard procedure). I shopped around and got him taken care of for a fraction of the cost. They are far too expensive for the standard, everyday care and always seem to be pushing unnecessary procedures, after-care, follow up visits and medicines. They have an online pharmacy with prices that are well more than the normal and if you buy food, treats or flea-tick applications from them directly, expect to pay generously for it. It’s always smart to ask for a paper prescription and then shop the online pharmacies for the best prices. 90% of the time, you’ll save money.
