I didn't want to believe the negative reviews, but I should have. Was celebrating a birthday & the day of the event someone called to confirm the reservation/purpose. This left me with a good first impression, but things went downhill from there. Arrived & the hostess showed us to our table, sprinkled some dime store confetti on the table, said "happy birthday" and walked away. Server (Dan) was somewhat attentive, no complaints regarding his service. Food was average/below average (party of 3 ordered crab cakes, steak, shrimp, bass, mashed potatoes, salad.) Requested rare, received medium well, tasteless, tough meat. The salad was decent, all else was average/below average. The expense (over $300) was definitely not worth it. No attention to detail, no evidence of "fine dining" other than the white tablecloths. The atmosphere was slightly better than average. When the meals were delivered an unidentified female came to ask if things were OK before we took first bite. Received a free (small) dessert due to it being a birthday celebration...not impressed. This was a PATHETIC fine dining experience. Highly disappointed that I spent my birthday here....I had higher expectations.
Could have received a better experience from any number of steakhouses in the area while spending less money. Recommend you reevaluate your operations and identify/implement improvements. Unfortunately, I can not recommend and obviously, will never return.
