When looking for a bookkeeping service, I prefer to work with someone who is kind, communicative and takes an interest in clients. I believe that good customer service is a priority. Today, relationships are important and its what makes loyal customers come back and refer friends. If like me, that is important to you, then find a different bookkeeping service. Jonathan is bottom line oriented and getting paid seems to be his first priority. He assigned a bookkeeper to my business with no introduction. There were errors in my books (eg: TPT sales tax entered as a penalty) that required hiring someone else to fix. He slapped me with a hefty bill during the pandemic with no warning, not even the courtesy of a phone call, knowing from my books that business was in a downturn. I did not give him the opportunity to fix what was wrong because Jonathan was unwilling to negotiate the cost of services taking no responsibility for any misunderstandings. His services are expensive, and his approach is mediocre. There are far too many other services out there to waste your time with this one. Keep looking.
