The Shelby Design Center has been serving consumers, architects, builders, and designers for over 2 decades. Located within the 20,000 square foot showroom of The Shelby Design Center are – Carpet One Floor & Home and Lighting One – both which are family owned and operated by Jim Plutter. Carpet One and Lighting One are both part of a cooperative of over 1,000 other independent, family businesses. The cooperative advantage gives us the buying power to purchase quality products at competitive pricing which we can then pass on to our customers. Gregg Holmes was very helpful in guiding me through the decision process. I purchased new lighting for my entire home and it all looks great. Gregg took the time to show me the different finishes and styles of lighting that would go best in my home. The lighting choices on display in the showroom were a tremendous help. He also sat with me at the store while going through the online shopping for Lighting One was a plus! I will recommend Shelby Design Center and Lighting One to all my family and friends!

I have been here 3 times in less than a week trying to find a solution to replacing my builder grade "boob" and "hollywood" vanity lights. Jennie Thabet was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and patient helping us coordinate the various rooms for a cohesive look reflecting both mine and my husbands taste..

The lighting selection here is amazing. Jennie Thabet was very knowledgeable and helped me through the process of finding lighting for my whole house. I had been to many lighting stores and none of them had as much selection as over here. I was looking for antique lighting fixtures and found everything I was looking for at this one place. This is the first store that will come to my mind whenever I'm looking for either furniture or lighting or accessories.

Jennie was so helpful in helping me pick out some crystals that my light fixture needed. She totally treated me as if I was spending thousands when it was only a small purchase but she knew it was important to me. She let me take home a few samples home to see if what I was looking at was the right thing for my light. Jennie and Greg really took time with me and made sure I would be happy with my purchase. Shelby Design is a great place to do all your shopping for your home. If they don't have it, they will order it for you and they do match prices! Thank you for all your wonderful help.
