Dr. Glenos is an uncaring orthodontist who won't treat you unless he sees lots of money in it for himself. I went to him today after waiting a long time, and filling out all the paperwork online. He knew in advance what my issue was. Yet, he made me go all through the appointment and then proceeded to tell me that he wouldn't help me because he did not want to "waste my money". What!! I have excellent dental insurance, GEHA high option as a federal retiree that pays 80% of my costs for braces. He would not be wasting my money - he would be helping me use my benefits before they expire in December. My problem is another dentist had fixed my overbite problem that has been 72 years in the making, but he failed to put a strong enough permanent retainer in FULL-TIME so my teeth have shifted and gone 'buck' again in 3 months. He also gave me a defective retainer as I just paid for a new one and they are different. That is why my treatment failed, yet this other dentist claims my teeth failed because I didn't wear my retainer the exact 12 hours per day. So, he refuses to put me in braces again to set my teeth right again and give me a more solid retainer. You get the picture! He's one of those who won't admit he caused harm and take responsibility for his mistake and he casted me off to find help elsewhere. I'm freaking out because my teeth are sticking out more and more. I'm a 72 year old disabled widow, I pay for great government insurance, yet no one will treat me. I say that because, after Dr. Glenos looks at my teeth admitting they have moved substantially in 4 months, states he won't put me in braces because if he did that and got my teeth corrected and into a permanent brace like I'm asking for , it ( the brace) will keep breaking. I ask, "But how do you know???" If you don't try??" Then he has the audacity to tell me that I just need to live with buck teeth. i.e. I'm am not worthy of his time and effort because I am old.!!! This has a name - it is called AGE DISCRIMINATION. I have pictures of myself from June where my teeth look beautiful. He does not even CARE, he does not even CARE, about me enough to TRY and help me look the same again. I have documentary evidence that in 2018 I first went to him for my over bite problem and he was gung-ho ready to help me and get my money. In fact, he billed GEHA my insurance company $700 when I had never had one brace put on me. He was going to charge me also. I think I reported it to GEHA when I got an invoice to pay. I said that I'm being charged for a dentist who never afforded me a treatment. GEHA, I believe asked for their 700 dollar payment back and they got it. I figured Dr. Glenos has never done anything wrong, just his office secretary had overbilled, so I assumed he would have no animus against me. WRONG! This must be a part of it also. And it's also discrimination. Reprisal discrimination. Because, really, my story is all true,,,You think about it. What kind of a doctor, who knows he will receive compensation for his work, will not TRY and help and heal some one. He didn't even refer me to anyone else that could possibly help. Oh, I just read Ithat untreated overbites often lead to headaches of which I have a lot lately. They all put on this phony little nice act when you walk in, but it's all disingenuous, when I was trying to explain my situation to the cute intake person, she rushed me through and cut me off and I was perfectly on time for my appointment. Wow! What a sad day. Don't you have the same. Stay away and find a caring professional.
