Folks, this is a GREAT company to do business with! 1st of all they're Texans and Texans are some of the nicest people on the planet. I was called (by a REAL person!) a couple of times, emailed a few times, just making sure they had everything right...the order and the shipping details. My order arrived on schedule and every tamale (96 of them) was still frozen solid! BUT NONE OF THIS IS THE BEST PART!! These tamales are incredibly delicious! I served them at a rather small family reunion (20) and EVERY SINGLE PERSON said they were the best tamales they had ever eaten! I have to agree. Once hot 96 tamales disappeared in less than 30 minutes!!! Being a homesick Texan myself I had almost forgotten how good tamales are when the correct meat to masa ratio is used and every variety was spiced just right...and we got 'em all. The chicken habanero and the pork habanero were tasty/spicy but not too hot to eat...the vegetarians in the crowd loved the black bean and cheese tamales. I will never buy these California masa bombs again! TEXAS LONE STAR TAMALES will be my go to from now on...as a matter of fact I think I will place another order right now!

We had to wait till ALMOST the end of the holidays to get our tamales but they were worth the wait. We also enjoyed the queso and chili that came with the tamales!!!

My only issue was not being updated on delivery date but it was over the Christmas holidays. Once I got them they were some of the best I’ve ever had.
