About Us Joseph Sedrak, MD, is a Mohs skin cancer surgeon serving patients at Texas Skin Cancer Center in Kingwood, Pearland, Webster, and Houston, Texas. Highly skilled in all aspects of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures, Dr. Sedrak maintains his passion and enthusiasm for state-of-the-art techniques and treatments to improve the health and wellness of all his patients. Dr. Sedrak attended medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, where he finished at the top of his class. He earned a 4.0 GPA, and ranked #1 among the graduating physicians. He then completed his training in general surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by an intensive dermatology residency at Loma Linda University. There, he continued his impressive accomplishments, ranking in the top percent of national dermatologists. His dedication to advanced education and training led Dr. Sedrak to pursue a fellowship in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology, where he was able to train with world-renowned Mohs surgeon, Dr. Abel Torres, past-president of the American Academy of Dermatology. He also studied with plastic surgeons so he could develop advanced skills in skin surgery, allowing him to treat complex cases. Dr. Sedrak's expertise has led him to author textbook chapters for both dermatologists and dermatology students. He has successfully treated over 10,000 skin cancers in the last 10 years, and remains a leader in the field of dermatology. Dr. Sedrak is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. When he's not at his office, Dr. Sedrak enjoys spending time with his wife, dermatologist Silvia Sedrak, DO, and their four daughters.
