Since 2013, the Autism Academy for Education and Development (AAED) has opened three campuses in the Metro Phoenix area. Our teaching staff is equipped and trained to provide an environment for learning through use of different and adaptable curriculums, small group instruction, structured classrooms, schedules and a variety of specials to keep students engaged in learning. Students collaborate, communicate, think, experiment, and reflect throughout each day. The strategies utilized by our staff are aimed at providing students with the skills and knowledge to make decisions, to be successful in school, and to open doors for career development. Students at AAED show measurable growth in academics, behavior, and socialization. They are creating friendships, obtaining jobs, building strong values and going on to further education.

Our son has been at AAED since kindergarten 2016. He did not speak at that time and now it's hard to get a moment of silence, lol. He is now in 4th grade. AAED is amazing beyond words. The staff is what makes it so great. They proceed it even more when covid-19 hit. They were on top of getting online school up and running right away. My daughter's school took a lil while before it was ready. Our son lives the school, loves all the staff there and is getting all the help on schooling and therapies he needs. We highly recommend AAED.

We love this school and wish we would of changed to it years ago. The confidence and friends my son has now, because of the nurturing and welcoming environment the teachers and other staff procure, Is an invaluable thing! I know the teachers and staff have a lot of their plates right now with how the virtual learning has had to take over. But other than delay in emails (which is totally understand me right now!) I have zero complaints. I’m so grateful for everyone and looking forward to the day when my son can go back in person as he craves the interaction so much!

Great school. Kids get treated very well there. Would like to see more of a PE program for the kids. Some of the older kids are getting overweight. Maybe buy some exercise bikes for the kids to use. Overall very pleased with the school and staff.
