The Marriage Foundation was established by Paul Friedman in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the state of California. He brought together concerned individuals and experts who wanted to work towards the reduction of unhappy marriages and divorce. The primary reason is for the sake of children, who are the most impacted by unhappy marriages. Our simple mission is to proactively disseminate scientifically based knowledge of marriage and superlative marriage counseling to all who might benefit, regardless of financial ability. The grand purpose of marriage is to achieve the greatest of all spiritual benefits:unconditional love.

The Marriage Foundation not only helped me to improve my marriage but also the relationships that I have with my friends and co-workers. I particularly like the instruction on egos and expectations. How often we mistake our partner's actions as disrespectful and unkind. How often we get angry because we simply don't know how to communicate properly with each other. I understand now that most of the problems I had with my husband were due to miscommunication. TMF teaches you how to listen, how to stay calm, how to get your point across. Everything that they talk about is so easy and makes a lot of sense, I'm very glad I came across them last year.
