If you’ve ever heard Bob Seger’s song, Feel Like a Number, you won’t feel like that renting from Medcom Group. David was wonderful in many ways: prompt at returning calls; sent me a follow-up text the day after speaking with him as I was having issues getting a script needed to rent the CPM machine; was patient in walking me through the rental process/shipping/return; and all-around kind.
Amanda was also wonderful to work with as well. Prior to the arrival of the CPM machine, I received a thorough email from her that covered any questions I could possibly have had. Once delivered, I found a kind email from Amanda informing me that if I had any questions at all after opening the box, I could contact them. And then a sweet response email after I had replied that the instructions that came with it were straightforward enough that I didn’t even need to view the video.
While companies, stores, vendors, etc. need customers in order to meet their financial obligations, not all parties make you feel important and have a genuine concern for you. This was not the case with my rental experience; Medcom Group is a fantastic, all the way around, company! I love the follow-up to see if I would like to extend my rental or whether I’m ready to have it shipped back. I extended mine for 2 additional weeks, 5 weeks in total.
Last but not least, I had a TKA (as well as a realignment of my knee) and the CPM machine really reduces swelling, stiffness, and pain level. At the hospital, it was mandatory (so to speak) to be used for at least 15 minutes but I used it the whole time in which I wasn’t walking or doing PT. I was shocked at the immediate improvement—swelling, pain reduction, & stiffness, all of which had increased after discharge; I just ‘had’ to rent on.
