TLC Early Learning Center

Our son is in the 3 year old preschool room. The teacher is excellent—experienced, patient, calm and she truly cares about the children she teaches. Most of the staff have been at TLC for years and, in addition to their experience, truly care about the children. They work to create a wonderful learning environment for them. The provide warm, nutritious food; you do not need to bring any food from home and they work with food allergies. Our eldest is doing the elementary-age summer program with them and she loves it. They provide many fun activities during the day for them at the center and during field trips. During the school year, they also provide before and after school care for elementary aged children along with busing in the Bloomington School district. We have experience with other childcare centers (including a popular, expensive one) and preschools and would say TLC has been our best experience thus far. We highly recommend them!

Our family was referred to TLC ELC by a friend a few years ago and now our now 4-year old child still there. We now realize how blessed we are to have found this place! TLC is such a warm and supportive environment. Our child not only is well cared for by the incredible staff, but has developed so many important skills - confidence, respect, interpersonal skills, as well as cognitive skills. We've known the staff since we started - they have extremely low turnover - and I can tell they actually care about our child. With each classroom change, we've already known who the teachers are for years. The director has been there 30 years and is committed to providing a superior place for children to grow and learn. We can't say enough about how much we love being a part of the TLC ELC community.
