I got a "Tig Finger" wrap and it's come in quite handy, particularly when I have to work really close to the welded joint. Gloves protect only to a certain point. This is an added layer of insulation that allows me to concentrate on what I'm doing, rather than be distracted by that annoying sensation of my skin being seared.
