Mr. Alex R. Hernandez Jr. was born in Port Lavaca, Texas and has lived most of his life knowing he would become a lawyer. Mr. Hernandez is the grandson of Jesus Hernandez, an ALCOA janitor and small appliance repairman originally from Monterrey, Mexico and son of Calhoun County Court at Law Judge Alex R. Hernandez.
